Bezeichnung für Halbleitertechnologien beziehungsweise Schaltungstechniken, die auf unipolaren Bauelementen beruhen. Basistechnologie bildet die MIS-Technik. Grundelemente einer unipolaren integrierten Schaltung sind MISFET-Transistor (Feldeffekttransistor) und Halbleiterdiode. Als Widerstand kann der Kurzschluss von Gate und Source wirksam werden. Kapazitäten lassen sich durch Metalloxidhalbleiterstrukturen realisieren.
